It doin alright.

I dont know to consider this a dance song...I found it much more trance like, with a dreamy feel to it. I closed my eyes and fell into the song. Kind of like the name suggests :P. It works amazaingly well for the name. The piano is nice at the beginnging I like the elctonic touch it has. It just seems as though the notes are being held a LITTLE too shortly. Besides that, this is an overall well thought over piece with some nice effects added to it.

Great work and give a shout out to my newest song if yuou get a chance, I've been hoping for some reviews. turn your volme down though. It's loud.

Mich responds:

Yeah, I've considering placing it in trance genre, but I think it also has a lot of 'dance' sound in it.
I'll have a listen at your song!

thanks for the kind review.

It's not bad.

I gotta take some points of for the piano though, It's too fake, You can definatly tell it's a hiphop song. I forgot that I love the beats of hiphop, I ust hate the singers that steal the money from people like you. It's a decent beat, but I just oculdnt get over the piano track, (I'm osrry, I play piano myself and I have am really anal if someone wants to put a computerized sound in it.) Your best bet is to Increase the reverb by about twenty percent, and give a 1/32beat of an echo, it's quickenough that it makes it osund like your ina real room and it's just the acoustics in the song. I really do like this. Gratz bro.

Give a shout out to my newest song right here www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/14136 3
Dunno If it's your style, But it's my newest and I could use some extra feedback from different genre's jjsut to knoq if its universal. :)

I like this!

I like this song, It rings quite a bell in the oriental in my...Is that takisho you are using? The bass I find is to mellow, try to Make it more bright. Other than that, iot's a simple theme, I like pretty much everything except the random 1second scales. They seem to clash with the song.

wyldfyre1 responds:

yeah, i'm gonna work on this when i get the time lol.. or really if i can ever think of anything to add. Hmm. LOL thanks for the review though!

It's fun.

I really liked this song. I heard alot of your eralier stuff and expected something a bit less refined then this. But you really did a good job. And unlike the last guy, I have no idea how to work FL or any Vst's So I just listen to the sound of it. this sogn worke dout all right. It could use a bit of refining on that annoying computerized sound in the Background. As well as a more expansive melody and some drums. But this is a MAJOR improvement on most of the stuff I heard before this. SO congrats on the new found skill my friend.

Check out some of my musics if you want as well.

Rawmin responds:

Thanks for the lengthy and pleasant review. I do think I've been improving and plan to keep on the trend.

Not bad.

It's funny watching how you improve throughtout each song. This is my fav. it's still not amazing, and you're being reviewed according to others music as well, So I'm giving you quite a good grade even as is. But For your first few songs these are doing all right. Keep up the work and give me a shout when a new one comes out!

kvsunfire3 responds:

Hey, I'm glad you like it, and I'll definitely keep posting music. Just lemme know what you think ^^

I love it!

The song Immeaditaly brings a familiarity to heart and soul, The song I learned how to play piano with :P. I believe Your doing a C Chord C- CE -CEG- CGEC then the Aminor ...etc I could be wrong, that was by ear... Either way, back to the review: The progression Is quite slow paced and lets the listener Sit back and mind the music. It's very mellowed out, and has a feel of passion to it. Quite astounding how emotion can be felt through songs, adn sepcifically how you bring i out in this one. Great work my friend.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

THanks a lot. it is very hard to make a song bring out emotion, especially to teenagers. Art doesn't bring out emotion as much as music does, that is why I like making it so much. Thanks for your review, and I am glad you liked it.

OMG THE 1ST NINE IN A LONG TIME*

Hmmmm...

I thought that might be your tag when I saw it on the new music section. and sure enough it was...oddly enough, the intro was my favorite part. Just the way it flowed and BAM the song is there buy you take it away and bring it back a bit more each time. It's a really smooth playthrough, througout the whole song. I wish i could criticize on the making of the effects, but i seriously dont know whether thats a standard effect or you tweak it yourself. Either way you turned a simple very mellowed out melody into a creation of creativity and just something a person could generally sit down and drink a beer too. and on that note. Cheers to you my friend.

nubbinownz responds:

Cheers my man! I'll drink to that!

The effects are not standard effects. I Try to do everything un preset. And make my own synths and arps as well.
The beats I make are individual hits from about 6 different breaks in this one. With various parameter automations on the sampler. Thank you so much for the awesome review man! I really appreciate it!

This was fun.

It was really cool how you used the distortion of the sounds to allow the kick of the drums to phase right into the listener in the intro. They still allowed ofr a melody to come through. I'd say you got some drumming background going on there, cause it's stuff you dont hear too often from most of the mixers. Even the bass seems to be paled in comparison to how much work is going into the drums.

The melody...I couldn't even notice much of it to begin with. But when I heard the sounds repeat, I figured it out, and it became that much of a better listen. Definatly a much better song on the second playthrough.

The bass, seems to never stop, it sounds as though you just hit it once and then almost wah it to a different tone for the whole song. I really like how it was done.

overall quite a good song. You got my Fav.

It took me a good 30 minutes to listen to this whole thing thanks to my crappy dial up atm. BUt It was well spent.

PERVOK responds:

Good call, friend. I've been playing drums for 11 years now :) I'm really glad how you appreciate all the small things in this song; since I wrote this song just from straight inspiration and no real goal at all, it turned out a little bit messy. But I'm happy that you saw past the mess, haha :)

Thanks for the detailed review, and the fav! I really appreciate it. Not often that I get a really good review from a really good listener :D

Keep it easy.

Is that...

Noise? Are you using Noise as your led? and just changing the frequincies? If thats what It is. thats insane. congratz on this fin piece of work.

TheComet responds:

If I remember correctly, the lead was a 3xOsc synth, 2 noise waves and 1 saw wave, and it was run through distortion, an automated flanger, and a chorus effect

I don't get it.

I wonder. How this got such a high ranking, With such a simple song. I guess It's just because Piano is what I play. This is a nice melody, But I just don't see it as Full as any piano melody of this genre could be. I'll try something along the lines of this In my next piano solo, and see if it fares any better then the complex ones I already have. on that note, thanks for the inspiration. :P

kelwynshade responds:

I've played the piano almost all my life, and if you have as well then you should obviously know that sometimes slow and simple can be more powerful and full of more emotion than complex works.

Try closing your eyes sometime while playing and just let go. You'd be amazed at what comes out.
