I agree.

The sound effects do seem to clash with the music during the begginning segment, You should Probably Cut the first silent part of your song off, I like the progression of the instruments, The slow and sure movement from the strings to the beat, and then the sound fx slow down adn it becomes a much better overall piece. I like it, I just don't care for the beggining as much, and You should definately chop your first two seconds of silence to make for that little extra into a good track.

The actual point of the first few seconds of silence is to recreate little silence that occurs in between two Counter-Strike rounds right before players buy their weapons and equipment :)

I'm somewhat speechless.

But not enough to say it's amazing to hear such a well done creation. I can't believe how realistic that piano sounds. If it is I can respect this song even more. It's sad, and I personally don't care for voice as much as instrumentals, but I can't lket that devoid of the song. It's a completely great melody, as sad as it is. And just rings an emotion into the heart of the listener.

I rarely give 10s out. BUt you sir, Deserve that and then some. Really good work.
I have some piano solos myself that I play, check em out if you get the chance.

It's simple but nice.

I like it, It still feels as though it's lacking somethign though. Definatly a great menu theme IMHO even for a puzzle game. The one thing that gets me is maybe the "bass drum" I don't know, it almost sounds like it has a tone to it. (it cuts of at 1:00 and comes back at 1:10) It seems to off beat and short to fit correctly in with the song. It's still a great simple melody. Good work.

Give a shout out to my newest song, at www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/14136 3 I seriously think it's my best yet and could use a review like yours on it's side. :P

Nav responds:

Hm. I'm not sure what you mean by the comment about the bass drum! Thanks for the review, though. I'll check yours out and review tomorrow, because I just worked out and my arm's sore.

Thanks for reviewing! :D

It doin alright.

I dont know to consider this a dance song...I found it much more trance like, with a dreamy feel to it. I closed my eyes and fell into the song. Kind of like the name suggests :P. It works amazaingly well for the name. The piano is nice at the beginnging I like the elctonic touch it has. It just seems as though the notes are being held a LITTLE too shortly. Besides that, this is an overall well thought over piece with some nice effects added to it.

Great work and give a shout out to my newest song if yuou get a chance, I've been hoping for some reviews. turn your volme down though. It's loud.

Mich responds:

Yeah, I've considering placing it in trance genre, but I think it also has a lot of 'dance' sound in it.
I'll have a listen at your song!

thanks for the kind review.

It's not bad.

I gotta take some points of for the piano though, It's too fake, You can definatly tell it's a hiphop song. I forgot that I love the beats of hiphop, I ust hate the singers that steal the money from people like you. It's a decent beat, but I just oculdnt get over the piano track, (I'm osrry, I play piano myself and I have am really anal if someone wants to put a computerized sound in it.) Your best bet is to Increase the reverb by about twenty percent, and give a 1/32beat of an echo, it's quickenough that it makes it osund like your ina real room and it's just the acoustics in the song. I really do like this. Gratz bro.

Give a shout out to my newest song right here www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/14136 3

That song caught me off guard.

I'm on dial up, So basicalyl I listen to a bit, restart, listen again, so after 5minutes of your song loading I was thinking this was just a basic trance beat. But was I ever wrong. I love how it starts out very coarse, and slowly becomes smoother and smoother. The 48second mark just competley destroyued every aspect I understood of this song. I couldn't even comprehend that was coming. I'd love to comment about every part in this song. But I just oculdnt fit it in this. Great, seriously just beyond comprehension amazing piece of work. I really Hadn't heard of you till reading something about paragon and you, being some of the great Ng composers. Wow is this ever amazing. You have such a huge amount of respect from me right now.

Seriously, I was blown away by the pieve. Thank you.

I'm lovin it.

But not like the mcdonalds Lovin it, Like actually lovin it. It's a nice little upbeat piece that can bring the sprite out in any game. Makes me want to play my SNES again. I guess I'll be missing this though, cause you are selling your god damned computorz. Sill nice work, Voted 5, 4.32-4.34 Yay!

Oh jsut so you know, I fixed the tempo on that newest song, and redid the drum track. The drums are giving me orgasms as we speak.

Later!!

I like this!

I like this song, It rings quite a bell in the oriental in my...Is that takisho you are using? The bass I find is to mellow, try to Make it more bright. Other than that, iot's a simple theme, I like pretty much everything except the random 1second scales. They seem to clash with the song.

wyldfyre1 responds:

yeah, i'm gonna work on this when i get the time lol.. or really if i can ever think of anything to add. Hmm. LOL thanks for the review though!

Hehe..

I really like this loop, It's one of those short and sweet tunes you kinda just hear in a menu. Although those songs aren't often they are needed, and they make the game. Frigging nice work man.

Too...much...intro.

It's called an intro for a reason my friend. It shouldn't be longer than the rest of the song. After around 30 seconds, even with the voice echo coming in, it's still jus ttoo repetitive. expecially for me, Who has to wait 10minutes for a song to load because I'm on dial up...I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for the melody to come in. Besides that though...it's an alright tracne song. when it gets to being one. I'd say it's more of a Drum and bass because of the intro, but...Good work nonetheless.
Good work and Keep improving.
